The staff of Orgill school were out together at The
Ship Launch to enjoy a fanastic evening of fundraising and entertainment
of thrilling quality all in support of their own school. Many members of the
Dunnery family were present among the fans, and so were Tony and Pauline
Bell, still passionately supporting projects to benefit the youth of
Egremont of whom their daughter, Lisa was such a vibrant member. The Charles
& Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund chose to focus on Orgill this year and
launched their drive with a pop quiz, a raffle, an auction of signed
photographs and other memorabilia donated by celebrities who were eager to
support the cause beloved by Francis Dunnery, and lastly a Dutch auction for
a bottle of champagne that raised more than £160. The evening as a whole
raised £1215, with two events to come, a Race Night and a concert at
Rosehill by John & Wayne and Dorie, backed by Francis Dunnery.
