By now, you will know what Labour will do in Copeland; invest in new jobs, build new hospitals, schools, nuclear developments, universities and more

 Nature’s power is something we in Cumbria have come to respect over recent months, and that power was demonstrated again in Haiti in mid January. An earthquake that measures 7.2 is big, believe you me, and the effect was to kill thousands of people, destroy homes, infrastructure and public buildings and leave one of the poorest countries in the world destroyed...

Lowes Court Gallery kicked off the New Year in style with a wonderfully diverse photographic exhibition entitled ‘Photography out West’. With an amazing array of photographs ranging from beautiful scenic shots to utterly quirky images supplied by over a dozen photographers the whole display was like a wonderful assault on the senses....
