Michael Jolly has particular reason to feel proud of the achievements of 19 year old Jonny Bewsher who trains at the Fitness Factory Gym. He was the youngest entrant for the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation Northern Qualifier, Junior category, for those aged 20 - 23, and by finishing third in his group he received an invitation to take part in the Final on 12th October, by which time he will be 20 years old.
Jonny is particularly proud to be taking part in BNBF competitions because of the rigour with which the Federation checks whether competitors are using any banned substances such as Anabolic Steroids, Testosterone, and Growth Hormones. They not only take urine samples but also hire an ex-FBI agent from the US to carry out polygraph tests as well. Determined never to take any banned substances, Jonny would take any tests with full confidence.
He joined the Fitness Factory gym over four years ago, but only in the last year and a half ago that he started to get serious about his training and diet. With Michael’s encouragement he trains very hard between five and six days a week.
